looking to rent and perhaps buy a pedal steel
by: frank boyd

I have absolutely no knowledge of a pedal steel except that over the years starting with Alvino Ray(Rae)? in the late 30s I liked the sound. I am now a retired attorney having play fiddle, saxophone, alto horn, trumpet, chorded on a Hawaiian tuned guitar and played harmonica. THERE USED TO be a Leon Mc Alvery( I'm not sure of his last name) who played with Bob Wills and Bob was famous for saying " take it away Leon" and that he could do.
Please email me at and let me know if there is any interest.I don't know if I will be able to learn how to play the instrument. If I succeed I would buy it.In the mean time I would be willing to pay a reasonable monthly rental> I would provide proof of insurance on the instrument for loss and or damage due to theft, fire etc.
